Since the initial Panda update rolled out, many websites have lost significant traffic and slid in the Google rankings. Google has implemented several smaller extensions of the Panda update and hinted that there`s still more to come.</p>
<p>If your website has experienced a loss of traffic in the post-Panda internet world, there are specific steps you can take that might help your site rise in the rankings again. <p>Google Search Engine</p>

<h3>Don&#8217;t Use Single Words</h3>
<p>If you are planning on using single words as keywords in your site or blog, forget about it.  You will simply end up being lost in the crowd when trying to compete this way.  Not only do most single keyword phrases have the utmost competition on the web, but most people simply don&#8217;t search using one word.  Each and every keyword or phrase that you use should consist of at least two words as this will give you a greater chance of breaking into search results (phrases have less search results than single words, obviously).</p>
<h3>Research Each Phrase Individually</h3>
<p>I&#8217;ve seen way too many people try to determine their keyword performance by searching vague terms and getting an “average” of what the search results will be for their niche.  Please, please do not do this!  Each keyword and phrase must be researched as intended to be used in order to figure out if it is effective for your site.  If you broad-stroke it, you will end up with irrelevant and duplicate keywords as well as ones where you have no hope of competing.  The whole point of keywords is that you have to research them and find the ones best suited for your particular site and/or niche.</p>
<h3>Keep On Top Of Things</h3>
<p>Every month it seems search engine optimisation tactics change and your keyword dominance one month may become a joke the next.  Not only do you have to individually research keywords upon selection, but you must continuously monitor them in order to maintain your lead over other sites.  If you begin to see your site slipping in the ranks, you will want to investigate further into what specific tactics are needed to return you to the top.  Many times, other sites may surpass you in content with the relevant keywords, so it may be something as simple as pumping out more content.</p>

<p><strong>Step #1: Know where everything is.</strong></p>
<p>Remember: everything has to have an assigned place in order for organization to work in the long run. This means that once you place a file in a folder, for example, you should always put it back into that folder at the end of the day, so you can find it with ease later on.</p>
<p>Now that I think about it, I know a lot of fellow Internet marketers who actual make time to do certain jobs over. However, they never seem to have the time or the patience to do things right from the start. In other words, if they have trouble finding a certain file, for example, they simply give up looking for it and resort to making a brand new one. What I&#8217;m wondering is: doesn&#8217;t that take so much more time to do? Well, if you just place the file in the right folder to begin with, you can get things done in less than 10 seconds.</p>

<p><strong>Step #2: Have everything that you need handy.</strong></p>
<p>Naturally, the stationery supplies that you have in your home office should depend on your personal budget and needs. Ideally, you should have everything that you might need handy without necessarily turning your desk into a huge storage area for stationery supplies. If you really do need a lot of supplies, then try investing in a dress or a bookcase to keep them all in and only keep the daily necessities on your desk. Also, when storing your supplies into their assigned storage areas, make sure you label them first, so you can identify them with ease.</p>
<p>I find it helpful to keep my desk as my home office&#8217;s main point in order to keep things running smoothly. On that note, I keep all of the equipment that I use frequently within arm&#8217;s reach, like my fax machine, my telephone and recent documents. As for my other important documents, I keep some of them in a filing holder on my desk and the others in a filing cabinet nearby.
